Postnatal/Baby and Me Yoga Teacher Training with Sara Guenther

Are you interested in supporting women and babies postpartum as they navigate the journey of motherhood? This 15-hour Postnatal/Baby and Me Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers, doulas, childbirth educators, counselors, mamas, and anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the postpartum body and how the practice of yoga can benefit new moms. The training will include community building, pelvic health, how to test for diastasis and properly strengthen your core postpartum, asanas designed to relieve common postnatal discomforts, songs/movement/asana for baby, class observation, and class sequencing.
In addition to 12 contact hours, trainees will be required to attend 2 postnatal classes and 1 breastfeeding support group following the training and submit observation forms. There will be multiple breaks during the training to allow trainees with young children to feed throughout the day. Babies are also welcome to attend or caregivers and babies can stay at The Mama’hood/Teatulia to facilitate easy feeding. Continuing education hours are also available through Yoga Alliance.
Sara Guenther, MS, E-RYT 200: Sara brings over 6 years of teaching experience, a background in counseling, training in birth story healing, and her own experiences as a mother to this training. She is committed to serving women and families as they navigate the postpartum return and explore the multi-faceted layers of motherhood. Toddler Yoga Immersion with Sara Guenther
Learn to teach playful, engaging, and meaningful yoga and movement classes to toddlers (confident walking to age 3). This immersion is geared towards postnatal/baby and me and kids yoga teachers who would like to expand their offerings to toddlers as well as parents, caregivers, and educators who aspire to bring the practice of yoga to young children.
The immersion will include the following:
-breathing exercises and mindfulness practices
-developmentally appropriate asanas and partner poses
-games, songs, and yoga based movements

Investment: $220.00 for part one (Postnatal/Baby and Me Yoga Teacher Training) and $120.00 for part two (Toddler Yoga Immersion). OR $300.00 total for part one and part two (a $40 savings if you register for both rather than taking each training individually).Part one will be held at The Mama’hood on Saturday January 24th from 9:00-5:00 and Sunday January 25th from 2-7. Part two will be held at The Mama’hood on Saturday January 31st from 9:00-5:00.
